Can we talk about that $30 weatherstrip I put on my front door?

I live in Ohio and last winter I finally got sick of the draft coming in under my front door. Picked up a roll of self-stick foam weatherstrip for around $30 at the hardware store. Took maybe 20 minutes to slap it on, and my gas bill dropped by about $15 a month that season. Did anyone else find that a small fix like that actually paid off fast, or did yours peel off after a few months like mine did in the spring heat?
