The $800 climate control unit I bought was a total waste

I dropped $800 on a fancy climate control system for my garage last winter to keep my '69 Mustang dry, but it just cycled the air and didn't touch the humidity. The cheap $40 dehumidifier I bought after actually stopped the rust on the chrome, so I should've started there. Anyone else get burned by overpriced storage gear that sounds good on paper but fails in real garages?

Yeah, that $800 unit probably kept the air moving even if you couldn't see it working.
