Hit 50 cars in my care this spring. Felt good.
I only store about 30 normally but people kept asking. Had a 70 Challenger and a 61 Impala in the same bay for 3 weeks without any issues. Anyone else ever get more storage requests than you planned for?

Oh man, the coolant leak thing. I actually had a 72 Nova drip coolant on a 59 El Camino underneath it last year and didnt notice for like two weeks because they were stacked and I couldnt see it from the front. The owner of the El Camino was not thrilled. But honestly, I figure if you keep a tarp between them and check every other day its fine. People around here seem to think my shop is a free museum and they just drop stuff off without asking first. I had a guy show up with a 68 Mustang that was literally just a body shell on a trailer and expected me to just find room for it. Like sure, let me just move my own daily driver out into the rain for you.

Wait, 50 cars is a lot. How do you even keep track of batteries and tires that long? I get that people want to store their classics but I had a buddy who let a guy stack two project cars in his shop and one ended up with a rust drip from the other for 6 months. He didnt realize until the owner came back and threw a fit. I try to keep it under 25 max so I can actually move stuff around and pull them out when needed. The Challenger and Impala together for 3 weeks sounds tight but I guess if theyre both rollers it works. Just feels like you're asking for a coolant leak or a rodent problem when you pack em in that dense.
