Checked out that indoor storage facility off I-94 in Detroit

Went to look at a spot for my '69 Charger last weekend. Place was called something like Motor City Vaults or whatever. They wanted $400 a month for a basic 10x20 unit with no climate control. I walked through and saw at least three cars with mold spots on the seats. For that price they should at least run a dehumidifier. Makes me wonder if anyone actually checks on their cars or just pays the bill and hopes for the best. Has anyone here had luck with the cheaper pole barn setups instead of these fancy places?

Yeah, $400 for a non-climate controlled unit does seem steep. I looked at one of those places last year for my own car, and I noticed the same thing with moisture in the air. How long you been storing the Charger? I ended up going with a pole barn setup about 30 minutes outside the city, it was maybe half that price and I just run a cheap dehumidifier plugged into a drop light socket.

Man I wish I had your sense, I just throw a tarp over mine in the backyard and hope for the best.
