The day I found a whole raccoon family in a flue in Boise
Got a call for a routine clean at a house on Elm Street last Tuesday, and when I got the camera up there, I saw five sets of eyes staring back. The homeowner said they'd heard 'scratching' for about a month but thought it was squirrels in the attic. What's the best way you've found to convince a client they need an animal exclusion cap installed immediately, not just a sweep?

Show them the video of the eyes and the nest material, that usually does the trick. I had a client who refused a cap until I pulled out a melted plastic toy from their furnace. Sometimes they need to see the potential fire hazard to get it.

Had a guy last month who only agreed after I showed him a charred squirrel tail from his blower motor. Visual proof is key.

A picture's worth a thousand bucks when they're being stubborn.
