That magnetic sweeper tool I laughed at? Saved me 3 hours on a job yesterday

I thought those $40 magnetic sweepers were a gimmick until I dropped a box of 200 screws into a pile of soot and ash. Ran the magnet through it once and pulled out every single one clean. Anyone else ever eat crow on a tool you swore you'd never use?
