Small win with a stubborn flue today

Managed to clear a total blockage without any damage. Feeling pretty chuffed about it.

Seriously, how did you pull that off? I totally get what hugo_flores85 is saying, every time I've tried, it's been a disaster. Last winter, I spent hours on mine and still ended up with soot everywhere. It's like those blockages are made to make a mess no matter what you do. Hearing you did it cleanly gives me hope for next time.

Read a tip online about using a wet/dry vac with a fine dust bag. Hook it right up to the cleanout port before you even take the cap off. Sucks all the loose soot and debris straight into the tank. Makes a huge difference, keeps the mess contained. Still a dirty job but way more control.
