Showerthought: I used to think those flexible brush extensions were just a gimmick.
Had a real tight bend in a flue on a job in Springfield last month, and my normal rods were just binding up. Grabbed a cheap 12 foot extension with the wire core from my truck, and it snaked right through with no fight. Does anyone have a better brand they trust for these, or is it just luck of the draw?

Those flexible extensions are a total gamble and will snap on you. The wire core gets twisted and fails when you really need it. You're better off just forcing the proper rigid rods through with some patience.
