My vacuum hose split open halfway through a job in Tacoma

It was a 2 inch tear right near the coupling. I had to tape it up with duct tape to finish the clean, but the suction was terrible. What's the best brand for a durable replacement hose that won't kink?

Yeah, those cheap hoses ALWAYS split there.

After a few splits, I switched to the reinforced kind like wells.brooke said.

I always bought the cheapest hoses until one split on me three times in six months. The reinforced ones with the steel spring coil inside are the only way to go now. They cost more but they don't kink and the ends are way tougher. I got a ProForce brand last year and it's been through some real abuse without a problem. That duct tape fix is the worst feeling when you're stuck on a job.
