Had to choose between a new camera or a better light for my inspections

Went with the Sunex 5000 lumen light after a job in a dark, old farmhouse chimney. It showed up a hairline crack my old light missed. What do you guys use for tricky lighting spots?

Good call on the Sunex. That kind of power is a game changer for old brickwork. I keep a small, high-lumen headlamp in my kit for tight spots where you can't hold a light. It leaves both hands free to poke around. The right angle lets you shine light directly into a crack from the side, which makes flaws stand out. It's saved me from missing more than one problem over the years.

Guess @abby_palmer's headlamp is the real MVP, finding all the problems we'd rather not know about.
