Bought a cheap camera scope online and it broke after three jobs, lost about $150.

Man, that "broke after three jobs" thing hits home. My buddy got one of those cheap inspection scopes for looking inside walls, and the little camera head just fell off the cable on his second house. He was trying to show a client some wiring and it just died. Total waste of money and he looked kinda silly in front of the customer. I mean, sometimes you really do get what you pay for with tools.

Honestly I used to grab the cheapest tool that would get the job done. Tbh after my third cheap drill burned out mid-project I finally got it. Now I just save up for the decent stuff.
