Showerthought: My first full week without a car in Logan Square felt like a small win
I sold my car 7 months ago and last week was the first time I did 5 days straight of errands on the Blue Line and my bike without one panic moment. The trick was finally figuring out the Division bus timing, which saved me about 20 minutes on my grocery runs to the Aldi on Milwaukee. It felt silly to be proud of something so small, but I even got my laundry and a dentist visit in without borrowing a ride. Has anyone else done the no car thing here, and what's the one trip you still can't figure out?
