Why does nobody talk about using a cheap spray bottle for oil on the flat top? I was burning through a quart a week until I tried it.

Oh man, @spencerl32, that spray bottle move is a game changer. I used to just pour straight from the bottle and end up with a greasy lake (and a huge mess to clean up later). The bottle gives you so much more control, like you're misting the thing instead of drowning it. It totally changed how I cook eggs on mine, because they need just a light coat, not a swim. I wish I'd figured that out way sooner, would have saved a fortune on oil.
