Unpopular opinion: that $180 knife roll I bought at the restaurant supply place in Reno was a waste
Used it for 3 weeks. Zippers jammed every single shift. The slots are so tight my 10 inch chef knife barely fits and I sliced a finger pulling it out during a rush. Went back to my $22 canvas roll from the same store. It has held up for 4 years. The fancy roll is now holding screws in my garage. If you are eyeing a padded roll with the little clear window, skip it. What is everyone else using that actually lasts?
