Last week's 'deconstructed' burger was a stylistic MESS that forgot to be DELICIOUS. When did we lose the plot?

Are you telling me people actually pay for a burger that's taken apart on a plate? That's not food, it's a art project that forgot to be edible. I saw one place serve the ketchup in a tiny syringe, like we're in a lab not a restaurant. When the cheese is cold and the bun is stale because it's all about the photo, what's the point? We've let social media turn a simple meal into a joke. Next they'll charge extra for a side of hashtags.

When did we start valuing clever concepts over actual satisfaction in dining? This burger trend reflects a broader cultural obsession with aesthetics that has infected many aspects of modern life. It's like we're designing everything for a quick photo op rather than for enduring quality or genuine enjoyment. That shift prioritizes novelty and visual appeal at the direct expense of function and flavor. We're losing touch with the fundamental purpose of things, whether it's food, furniture, or even services. Once the core experience becomes an afterthought, all you're left with is empty style.

Seriously, @dixon.spencer... it's like we're being conditioned to think a burger's worth is in its likes, not how it actually tastes. Once that mindset sets in, the whole dining experience just becomes background noise.
