Used to chase every dollar menu deal online, now I just walk the strip malls on Tuesday afternoons
Six months ago I was glued to coupon apps hunting for $5 combos, but now I just hit the strip malls off Highway 99 on Tuesday afternoons because that's when the taquerias and pho spots post their weekly cash-only specials on the door, and I've found three places under $7 that never show up on any app.

Tuesday afternoons at the strip mall, huh? That's some serious dedication to the fine art of loitering near a taqueria door hoping the cashier likes you. Love that the real deals are hiding behind a piece of printer paper taped to the glass (the apps would never). Meanwhile I'm over here still checking my phone like a chump while you're out there living like a coupon archaeologist. Respect.
