Tried a food truck on Elm Street that promised $5 burritos
Last Tuesday I hit up that new taco truck on Elm Street near the gas station, saw their sign for $5 burritos and got excited. They charged me $8 and said the sign was old, but the burrito was tiny and barely had any meat in it. Anyone else run into food trucks changing prices after you order?

Did the guy follow any health codes with that truck? I got sick after eating there and had to miss two days of work, wonder if there's a paper trail on this guy.

Did your friend also see that faded "$5" sign outside the red truck on Oak? My buddy Mike ordered from there last week, got charged $9 for a "special" burrito that came with more rice than anything else. He said the meat was dry and there was a weird hair in his beans, totally grossed him out. He tried to talk to the guy but the guy just shrugged and pointed at a new menu board. What did your friend end up doing about it?

Brought this up with my buddy Jake who tried that same truck last month. He ordered two burritos and the guy tried to charge him $18 after saying they were $5 each on the sign. Jake pointed at the sign and the guy just laughed and said the sign was from last year. The burritos were small and sloppy, barely any meat inside, mostly rice and beans. Jake ate one and threw the other in the trash because it just tasted like old grease. He said he'll never go back there and told me to warn anyone I know. Sounds like that truck is ripping everyone off the same way.
