The taco truck guy in Fresno gave me extra meat for knowing his name
I've been hitting the same taco truck on Blackstone for about 8 months now, and last Friday the owner Miguel finally asked my name after I ordered my usual 3 al pastor. When I told him, he tossed an extra scoop of meat on the grill and said 'for my regulars, that's free.' It came out to $6 for what easily would've cost me $12 anywhere else. Anyone else got a spot where just being a familiar face gets you a little extra?

Honestly I'd rather just pay the $12 and not have to remember names. Feels like you earned that extra scoop with 8 months of loyalty, not one conversation. Half the guys at these trucks would hook you up either way if you're chill.
