Stopped by my usual spot last Tuesday and the cashier, Maria, pointed out their app has a $3 sandwich combo that isn't advertised anywhere in store. She said she sees people pay full price all day because they don't ask. That got me thinking about how many other hidden deals I've been skipping, so now I ask at every counter before ordering.
