The $6 grocery store rotisserie chicken trick I messed up

So I saw everyone online saying you can buy a rotisserie chicken, shred it, and get like 4 meals out of it for cheap. I grabbed one from the Safeway on Broadway for $5.99 last Tuesday. Got home, shredded it all up... and it came out to only 2 meals because I ate half the chicken while I was pulling it apart. Learned that I need more self control or I'm just buying two chickens from now on. Has anyone else blown their budget on the "one chicken plan" because you couldn't stop snacking?

Roasting your own chicken works better for the same price.

Lol wait hold on, is stealing a chicken really that deep? I mean yeah it sucks but you're acting like they caught you on camera and put it on the news or something. @the_jason might have a point about roasting your own but I bet you'd still eat half of that while it's cooling on the counter. Honestly Safeway loses more money on their expired muffins than one chicken. The real crime here is paying $5.99 for a bird that size, they're practically giving them away as a loss leader anyway.
