That $15 all-you-can-eat sushi deal in Austin was a trap
My buddy swore this place on Riverside had great sushi for $15, but after two rolls I got the worst fish I've had in years. Ended up spending $8 at a gas station taqueria down the street to actually feel full. Anyone else find a 'deal' that's really just a tourist bait?

Honestly, that Riverside spot is a classic bait and switch for UT freshmen who don't know better yet. What was the actual name of the place, because I want to make sure I never set foot in there? Did they at least give you the wasabi that actually burns, or was that fake green dyed horseradish paste too? I've noticed these places usually survive on people who only eat the fried rolls and never notice the raw fish tastes like the Gulf after a storm. Tbh, you should've just hit up that taqueria first and saved yourself the $15 plus the bathroom gamble later that night.
