My neighbor's tip on dented cans cut my grocery run by $14 last Saturday
My neighbor Doris caught me digging through the discount bin at the Food Lion on 5th and said I was doing it wrong. She said the dented cans on the bottom shelf are marked down 50 percent but the ones up top are just scuffed and still full price. I checked the label dates on 12 cans and saved $14 on beans, corn, and tomatoes for chili night. Anyone else got a store aisle trick like this, or is Doris just the only one who knows?
