Just did the math on my lunch habit and yikes

I've been grabbing a burrito bowl from that spot on 5th Ave near my job site three times a week. I finally added it up and it's $47 a week which is like $188 a month for one meal. Found out by checking my bank statements from the last 3 months and I almost choked. Anyone else ever add up what they're actually spending on fast casual and get scared?

Honestly that burrito bowl is still cheaper than therapy though

Actually, therapy costs about $100 a session here in Austin than that bowl does.

Oh my goodness, "cheaper than therapy" stopped me cold. That is really something to think about, isn't it? I mean, a burrito bowl has beans, rice, maybe some hot sauce, but it can't help you work through your childhood issues. I guess there is some comfort in a warm meal after a hard day, but it's not the same as talking to someone who can actually help. It makes me wonder what kind of week you had that a burrito bowl is the best option available. But honestly, if it got you through, I can't really judge too harshly.
