Heard a guy at the Register say "if it's over $6, walk away" and now I'm questioning my $11 lunch habit
Last week I was in line at the Safeway on 5th and this older guy behind me told his buddy that anything over $6 at a food truck is a rip off, and he listed three spots off Cascade Ave that still do a full plate for $5.50. I checked two of them and he was right, the taco truck by the laundromat does a $5 plate that beat my usual $11 spot, and now I feel dumb for not knowing. How do you all keep tabs on who's still charging fair prices without driving around all day?
