Dinner at that new ramen spot in Denver left me $32 lighter and still hungry
Got all excited about the $12 tonkotsu ramen special near Union Station, but after tax tip and a mandatory $6 side of chashu I was out $32. The bowl was tiny too, barely enough for a snack. Anyone else feel like these "cheap" places are just bait and switch with the add-ons?

Man... $32 for a bowl of noodles that left you hungry? That's criminal. I paid $15 for a "premium" bowl at a spot in Seattle last week and at least I got full even if the broth was just salty water. Sounds like you paid for the hype and the real estate near Union Station more than the actual food.

Right, and you're still paying for the "experience" not the actual meal.
