Switching from L2 to L1 changed how I plan my whole week now

I used to always hunt for the free level 2 charger at the grocery store near my house in Portland. Spent 30 minutes shopping just to get like 12 miles of range back. Then I started just leaving my car plugged into a regular outlet at home overnight and waking up with a full battery. It's slower but way more convenient and I don't have to plan my errands around charging anymore. Has anyone else found that home L1 works better than chasing public L2 spots?

Okay but you're not really getting a full battery from a regular outlet overnight unless you have a tiny battery or drive like 10 miles a day. I plug my Model 3 into a standard wall outlet in my garage every night and I get maybe 4 miles of range per hour. So after 10 hours that's like 40 miles tops. That's not a full battery for most people. It works fine if your commute is short but if you drive 50+ miles a day you're gonna be playing catch up all week. I still use public L2 sometimes because my home L1 just can't keep up with my driving.

Did you try flipping the plug upside down? I swear mine charges faster that way.
