Serious question, my neighbor in Flagstaff says don't charge past 80 percent daily, but my manual disagrees
Last month I bumped into my neighbor Dave at the Flagstaff charger and he swore charging to 100 percent every day was killing his battery, so I plugged in to 80 percent for two weeks. My range dropped by about 25 miles and the guess-o-meter got all jumpy, which made me think the 80 percent rule is overblown for my car. Has anyone else tried the full charge life and run into real problems, or is Dave just repeating old Leaf advice?
