Public charger feedback made me stop topping off daily
This guy at a ChargePoint in Denver watched me plug in at 78% and said I was ruining the pack for no reason. He told me to only fast charge when under 40% or on a trip, not every single day on my commute. I switched to slow charging at home overnight unless I actually need range, and after 3 months my battery health estimate went from 91% back up to 94%. Anyone else get called out by a stranger at a station and actually change their habits?
Wait, a stranger actually fixed your battery with just words? My dad told me the same thing but I ignored him, so now I'm wondering if I owe him an apology or just a thanks.
