PSA: My EV was only charging at 12 miles an hour until I found the breaker switch in my garage panel
For two weeks my 2022 Bolt was only adding about 12 miles of range overnight on my home Level 2 setup, and I blamed the car, the cable, and the cold. Turned out the electrician who wired my garage in 2019 put the 240v outlet on a 30 amp circuit with the wrong breaker, so it was capped way below what the car could take. Has anyone else found a wiring shortcut like this in their own panel, or is it just me?

Check the breaker size yourself, electricians cut corners more than you'd expect.
