Overheard a guy at a Level 2 charger in Denver say his battery dropped 15% heating the cabin on a 10 degree morning
That hit me because I thought cabin heating was basically free. Turns out resistive heaters pull serious power. I checked my own logs and yep, I lost about 12 miles of range just warming up on a 5 mile commute last week. Anyone track the difference between resistive heating and heat pumps in real weather?
