Just realized the free public charger at the Sacramento library is actually faster than my home setup, so is free charging a trap or a gift?
A guy at the hardware store on Folsom Blvd swore the library's Level 2 unit put out 6.6 kW and I figured he was full of it, but I plugged in for 40 minutes and got more range than I do overnight at home, so now I can't tell if free public spots are worth planning my week around or if they're just going to get crowded and broken in a year.
