I finally figured out why my home charging was so slow
For the first 6 months with my Chevy Bolt I just plugged into a regular wall outlet. It took about 4 days to fully charge and I thought that was normal. Then a neighbor told me about Level 2 chargers and I picked up a used ClipperCreek LCS-25 for $200 on Facebook. Now I get a full charge in about 9 hours and it makes a huge difference for my daily commute. Has anyone else made the switch from a regular outlet and noticed a big change?

Bro that's wild you went that long thinking 4 days was normal. It's kinda like how people just accept things are slow until they accidentally find out there's a better way. Same thing happened to me with my internet. Ran on basic cable for years thinking "eh that's just how it is" til a buddy showed me fiber and I was like wait what. Once you know better you can't go back. Your brain rewires to notice all the other "slow defaults" you've been putting up with.

Wait, how many of us just go through life thinking something is broken when it's actually just... us? I remember I used to think my car's AC was trash because it took forever to cool down. Turns out I'd been running it on recirculate the whole time without realizing it. My buddy saw me sweating and was like "bro just hit that button again." Felt like a complete idiot. Made me wonder what other dumb defaults I'm still actively ignoring.
