Why does everyone put the punchline in the title now
I used to think that was just how you make a cat meme, slap the whole joke in the headline and put a random cat pic under it. Then I saw this one where the caption on the image actually did the setup and the title was just 'part 2' and it got way more laughs in the comments. Is there like a rule about splitting setup and payoff, or do people just not realize they're killing their own joke by giving it away early?
