Took 3 weeks to figure out my cat meme text was too small

I kept making these reaction memes with a 10 pixel font thinking it looked sleek. Posted one to a group chat and three people asked what the punchline said. Zoomed in on my own phone and yeah, it was basically a blur. Redid the same format with 22 pixel bold text and suddenly people started actually laughing. Should have just taken two minutes to preview on a phone screen instead of eyeballing it on my monitor for 20 days. Now I have a rule: if I have to squint, it gets bigger before it goes anywhere. Has anyone else burned time on a styling choice that killed the whole joke?
