That one week my cat template posts got zero engagement at all

Last Tuesday I put up a meme using my orange tabby's classic 'judging you' look from the kitchen counter. I got exactly 2 likes and one comment that said 'seen it before'. By Thursday I tried a new format with the 'woman yelling at cat' setup and still got nothing. I waited 3 days and posted a totally fresh take with my black cat knocking over a plant and it barely got seen. Has anyone else had a stretch where your cat memes just seem to disappear into the void?

Oh man, totally been there with my tuxedo cat posts until I started posting at lunchtime instead of late night!

Honestly, check your posting time. I went through a dry spell with my pics of my cat, Mittens, and realized I was posting at 3am when everyone was asleep. Switched to 7pm on a Wednesday and suddenly the same photos got way more attention. Might not be your cat, might be your schedule.
