That one neighbor who always rates my cat memes in person
I was at the mailboxes last Tuesday when my neighbor Ron saw my phone and asked what I was laughing at. I showed him a meme of a cat trying to fit in a shoebox with the caption about stubborn math. He stared at it for like 10 seconds and said, "That cat's got the right idea, it just wants to be part of the solution." Then he pulled out his own folder of cat memes from his pocket, laminated and sorted by vibe. We ended up trading favorites for 20 minutes, and now I can't post anything without wondering what Ron would rate it out of 10. Has anyone else got a random real life person who's become your meme review buddy?

My uncle Gary does this with me over texts about my dog. He sends me a rating out of 10 every time I post a picture, and he always adds a little note like "good tail form" or "needs more zoomies." It got to the point where I actually started picking which photos to post based on what he would say. Last month he showed up at my door with a printed binder of my dog's "best work" and I almost cried laughing. It's honestly the best thing ever to have someone who gets the silly stuff on that level. Ron sounds like a keeper, and that laminated folder is a huge green flag.
