Spent $22 on a catnip cactus toy for my meme, and my cat ignored it for the camera
So I had this big plan to make a cat meme where my orange cat Boris freaks out over a new toy, and I dropped $22 at the pet store on this little plush cactus stuffed with catnip. Got home, set up my phone on a stack of books, put the cactus on the rug, and waited for the chaos. Boris sniffed it once, looked right at the lens, and walked off to sit in a cardboard box instead. I sat there for 40 minutes trying to get a single usable clip while the cactus just sat there looking dumb. The one good frame I got was him yawning next to it, which honestly made a better meme than the freakout I wanted. So the $22 burned me on the video but saved the post, go figure. Has anyone figured out how to get a cat to do the thing you actually planned, or do you just film whatever happens and build the caption around it?
