A stranger at the cat cafe made me rethink my whole meme format

I was at the Meow Parlor in Chicago last week and this older guy watched me scroll through my drafts. He said 'your captions are trying too hard, let the cat do the joke.' It hit different because I've been overthinking every word for months, but he was right. My top post that week was just a blurry photo of my tabby with 'when the zoom meeting ends' and nothing else. Anyone else had a random person change how they make memes?
