Warning: That cheap seaming tape from BigBox Hardware will ruin your day

I used that Titan brand tape on a job in Phoenix last month and by the time I got back to stretch the seam it had already started peeling up in the 90 degree heat. Called their support line and the guy said it's only rated for indoor temps under 80. Now I've got to go back next week and redo a 20x15 living room on my own dime. Anyone else had this tape fail on a warm day?

Yeah that Titan tape turned my kitchen floor into a wavy mess last summer. I bought it because it was cheap and now I'm wondering if I can return the half-used roll for store credit.

Wait is the floor still wavy even after taking the tape up? Ive never used Titan but I heard their adhesive can actually react with some vinyl flooring over time if left in heat. Might be worth checking if your floor warranty covers that kind of damage.
