Walked into a hotel renovation in Reno and spotted tack strip laid right over old adhesive
I was checking out a 40 room job at a hotel in Reno last week and pulled up a corner of carpet, and there was tack strip glued straight onto dried cutback glue with no prep at all. That stuff is going to pop loose the first time the AC kicks on. Has anyone else seen this on hotel remodels, and how do you price the fix when the GC swears it was done right?
