Update: I was stretching carpet the wrong way for 2 years until a homeowner pointed at my knee kicker
I was working a 12x15 bedroom in Dayton last week and this older guy watched me stretch from the middle of the room like I always do, then asked why I wasnt starting in the corner opposite the door. He said his brother did carpet for 30 years and always started in the corner so the stretch runs toward the doorway, and when I tried it the wrinkles at the threshold disappeared completely. Anyone else been taught one way and found out later it was backwards?
