Unpopular opinion: Carpet tiles are getting good again.

The new glue methods stop them from moving around like before. A big office job last month made me see the light.

Sliding is a feature, not a bug. A phone case that sticks to everything just collects more pocket lint and grime. That grippy cup holder in your car? It's a pain to clean. Some movement is good. It lets you adjust things without a fight. The old carpet tiles that wandered were just asking for a creative room layout.

Ugh, it's like the whole world is made to slide now. You're right grant_hernandez, everything from phone cases to my coffee cup needs extra help to just stay put. Feels like they build things to be slick on purpose these days.
