The knee kicker trick an old timer in Dayton showed me for stair noses
For years I fought with stair noses popping loose a week after I left the job, even when I stapled the daylights out of them. A guy named Ray who had been installing since the 70s in Dayton showed me to kick the nose tight first, then back-staple the underside before I ever touched the face. I tried it on a 14 step flight a few days later and not one nose has lifted since. Any of you still fighting this, or did you all figure it out long before I did?
