Serious question, stretch-in rooms: do you fight the bow or work with it?
Spent 5 hours last Tuesday on a 12x18 in a house in Garland where one wall bowed out almost an inch in the middle, and I tried to force the carpet tight against it before giving up and power stretching from the corners instead. Half the crew says always pull to the straightest wall first, the other half says follow the bow so the pattern doesn't drift, and I'm stuck in the middle. What's your call when the room isn't square?
