PSA: My knee kicker's handle snapped clean off on a job in Everett yesterday

I was stretching a big piece of berber in a living room and the whole plastic grip just gave way, left me holding a metal rod. I had to finish the room with just the power stretcher, which was a real pain. Anyone know a good place to get a replacement handle that won't break again?

Honestly, that's the worst. Had the same thing happen with a cheap import model a while back. Tbh, I just ended up ordering a whole new kicker from that flooring supply place off 99. Their house brand handles are solid metal, no plastic junk.

Yeah but was it the actual handle that snapped, or was it the little locking mechanism that broke first? Cause I've seen both happen, and the locking pin seems to be the real weak point on those cheaper ones. That's what went on mine, the handle was fine but the pin just sheared right off. Did they fix that on the house brand version or is it still the same design?
