Snapped a tooth" yeah that's rough. I read somewhere that most of these stretchers break because people are pushing down too hard trying to get the stretch instead of easing into it. The teeth are just stamped metal on a lot of these entry level ones, they can't take that kind of force. I saw a guy on a forum say he switched to a Roberts 10-50 after his third tooth broke and hasn't had a problem since. Might be worth looking into if you're gonna be doing this kind of work regular.
