Just realized my old boss was right about using a knee kicker on Berber
He told me 'always tap, never slam' on a job in Tempe 5 years ago, and I finally saw why when a new guy tore a loop last month. Anyone have a different method for tight Berber seams?

Man, that's a tough lesson to learn the hard way... seeing a loop tear out like that. Your old boss had it right, that tap method saves so much headache. I've seen guys get too aggressive with the power stretcher on Berber too, and it just pulls the backing apart. Sometimes you just have to go slow and finesse it, even when you're in a rush.
