I'll take a power stretcher over a knee kicker any day of the week
Been seeing a lot of guys swear by the knee kicker for residential rooms. I tried using one on a 12x14 bedroom in Phoenix last month and my knees were shot by lunch. Switched to my power stretcher and got the whole room done in half the time with zero callbacks. The knee kicker left ripples I had to fix anyway. Anyone else find the power stretcher worth the extra setup for small rooms?

That 12x14 room you mentioned is actually the perfect size for a knee kicker if you take your time with proper technique. I've done over 50 rooms that size with one and never had a ripple issue, it's all about feathering the edges right.

Been there man, why do we keep putting ourselves through that knee pain when there's a better tool sitting in the truck? I did a similar sized room in Tucson last year and the knee kicker just laughed at me the whole time. Ripples showed up the next day and I had to re-stretch the whole thing. Power stretcher is a game changer even for small spaces, once you figure out the setup it's smooth sailing. My back and knees definitely appreciate the upgrade.
