I finally switched from knee kickers to power stretchers for long halls
After struggling with ripples on a 40-foot run last week, I borrowed a power stretcher from a buddy and it layed down flat in one pass, no question which tool I'm grabbing for rooms over 12 feet now, anyone else still fighting with a knee kicker on big jobs?

Wait, did you see that video from the Flooring Ninja where he tested both tools on a 50 foot run? He showed the knee kicker left ripples every time but the power stretcher did it perfect in one shot. I've been telling people for years that using just a knee kicker on anything over 10 feet is asking for trouble, especially with those LVP planks that don't have any give. The power stretcher just locks everything in way better with that steady tension. Once you use one on a long hall you'll never go back to punching your knee raw on a short pipe. It's like night and day for straightness and speed.

That Flooring Ninja video got me thinking, was he using the same brand power stretcher or just whatever he had on hand?
