I finally had to choose between a power stretcher and a knee kicker for a tricky 15x20 room last week, and going with the power stretcher saved me from a ton of callbacks.

The knee kicker just couldn't get the tension right on that old, uneven subfloor in the back corner, so what's your go-to method for those stubborn spots?

Yeah, that uneven subfloor problem is a real headache. I've been in that exact spot where the knee kicker just won't cut it. The power stretcher is the only thing that gets it right.

Found a similar situation in a tricky L-shaped room once. Tried wedging a scrap of carpet pad under the knee kicker's base plate to get a better grip on that low spot. Saved me from having to run and grab my power stretcher from the truck.

Ever try a double knee kicker setup for that kind of corner?
